  • Primer Media Inc., in collaboration with Mundo Design+Build, had once again hosted the Japanese-Filipino Networking Night last October 27, Thursday, at the Tower Club, Philamlife Tower, Paseo de Roxas in Makati.

    More than 100 attendees, including Japanese and Filipino business players from top companies, guests and expatriates, came in an evening of socializing, building of relationships, networking, and sharing insights on their businesses.

    A throng of Japanese entrepreneurs and renowned companies attended the event last night, including SM Investment Corporation, Fujifilm Philippines, Canon Marketing Inc., Mitsubishi Hitachi Powers Systems Group, Lotte, Familymart Co., Ltd., BDO, and Embassy of Japan to name a few.

    BDO, one of the top financial companies in the Philippines, graced us with their presence that evening and shared valuable information about their company.

    The first speaker of the night was Ms. Tae Abe-Abion, President of SpiceWorx Consultancy Inc., a company that facilitates various forms of business partnerships. She talked about cross-cultural communication between Japanese and Filipino and shared with everyone the winning formula on how to create a good business relationship between the two nationalities.  She also mentioned the tagline, “Choose Philippines, Go Global,” and added that she believes that partnership, cooperation and collaboration is the key to global success.

    Next speaker of the evening was the Operations Head of Mundo Design + Build, Engineer Albert Agu, who introduced their new initiative “Go Green” that aims to create timeless designs and structures to meet the demands of their clients while conserving and enhancing the natural resources for the use of the future generation.

    Also present was the Senior Editor of Philippine Primer Magazine, Ms. Prauline Lorena, who formally launched the English version of the magazine to the Japanese and Filipino audience of entrepreneurs. Ms. Lorena talked about what’s inside the newest expat’s magazine and how it aims to be the most trusted source of information for foreigners.

    Primer Media Inc.’s Assistant Editor and Website Manager, Ms. Pat Cordova, also introduced the new look of Philippine Primer‘s online counterpart, primer.com.ph, which now has over a 100,000 unique online visitors every month since its launch in 2015.

    In this evening, Primer Media’ Inc.’s Ms. Jayne Manuel proudly launched the company’s travel agency, Philippine Primer Luxe Travel, an exclusive and upscale travel partner for trips to Japan. A creative video was flashed on screen to show how fun it is to travel to “Land of the Rising Sun”.

    An event to bridge and be a gateway for business networks, Mundo x Primer Networking Night was a success with each and every guest enjoying and building relationships, Mundo introducing their “Go Green” initiative, and Philippine Primer launching the magazine’s English version and Philippine Primer Luxe Travel.
