Booze, Books, and Bhutan: An Asia Society Mixer
Asia Society is serving up Booze, Books, and Bhutan all in one Saturday afternoon (3PM-6PM) on September 10, 2016 at ABV (Alcohol by Volume) Cocktail and Absinthe Bar. Learn how to craft your own cocktails with ABV’s own Kenneth Bandivas, 2015 Diageo Philippines Bartender of the Year, and Lester Ligon, 2016 Diageo Philippines South East Asia Finalist.
In the group mixology class, you’ll be mixing a classic Moscow Mule, Bandivas’ award-winning Bitter Felipe (his Philippine-inspired entry for the Around the World Challenge at the Diageo World Class 2015 Global Finals, a Bourbon-based cocktail flavored with ampalaya or bitter gourd) and your own signature cocktail. Find out about how you can be involved in books and Bhutan, and other Asia Society programs, all while enjoying cocktails and good company.
The fee is PhP 1500, which includes all the ingredients for the mixology class, and your choice of bar chow. Asia Society members can avail of the discounted rate of P1200. We’re also giving away a set of cocktail mixing equipment (valued at P2000) from Gourdo’s, so you can practice your newfound skills at home. Register now at: http://tinyurl.com/asmixology
Booze, Books and Bhutan is presented by Asia Society Philippines and ABV, and supported by Gourdo’s and Boozeonline. ABV is at Basement Floor, 22 Jupiter St., Makati.
