  • Want to learn how to write about food? Join the food writing workshop happening on July 2, 9, 16, and 23, 2016 at the Ayala Museum!

    This Food Writing 101 event is an introductory course to food writing, teaching the basics of writing about food which are passion, precision, and clarity. This workshop is open for everyone including students, bloggers, and even academics such as sociologists who would like to learn to be able to craft of creating food write-ups.

    The facilitator for this event is Ginny Mata, a writer, editor, and licensed baker by profession. She was a former English instructor at UP Diliman teaching food writing. She is also the current associate editor of FOOD magazine. She has also written for several Philippine publications on food.

    The workshop fee is P5, 500 that includes materials, handouts, and certificate. A down payment of P1, 500 is required to reserve your slot. Deadline for reservation is on June 19, 2016.
