  • The Tony-awarded stage play, The Normal Heart by Larry Kramer, is coming to Manila on June 3-5 at the PETA Theater Center in Quezon City.

    The play is about a passionate writer in the early 1980s in New York, Ned Weeks, who has been asking for attention from the government as the epidemic HIV-AIDS spread, which is almost taking over his community.

    Debuting off Broadway in 1895 and opening in Broadway in 2011, this piece received numbers of Tony Awards including Best Revival of Play.

    Take part and follow the story of Ned Weeks as he fight to save the people in his community that are being affected by AIDS and discover why Tony is proud of this piece. Directed by Bart Guingona, This play was in partnership between the PETA Theater Center and The Necessary Theatre.
