The Philippine Tour Operators Association (PHILTOA) will be staging the 26th Philippine Travel Mart at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City on September 4-6 2015 to be led by Tourism Secretary Ramon R. Jimenez, Jr. as the guest of honor. The event’s theme for the year is “PHILIPPINES: The Fun Capital of Asia” promoting the best in Philippine travel and the tourism opportunities of the ASEAN integration.

The Philippine Travel Mart is the longest-running Travel Trade Exhibition that focuses on the promotion of domestic and inbound tourism. Local and foreign travel enthusiasts flock to the exhibit every year to get the best deals in tour packages, airfare, and accommodations for the country’s best destinations as well as foreign trips.

There are twinning packages of Philippines + other ASEAN member destinations that aim to make the Philippines the travel hub of Asia. Exclusively low-priced airfare to your Philippine and ASEAN destinations and special accommodation packages from 136 hotel and resort exhibitors will be up for grabs. Also, luxury resorts from around the Philippines will be substantially slashing their prices to make an extravagant holiday affordable to exhibit guests.

A lot of other exciting travel deals await visitors at the event:

The “Sale ng Bayan” Pavilion which will feature the “Fun Caravan Tours” — a highly discounted package by up to 70% discount, covering well-crafted tour packages with accommodations and land and airfare components like Rediscovering Batanes, Cordillera’s Heritage Warrior, Southern Tagalog Kulinarya, Tuna-‘boli Myx and more. Price starts at P 3,500 per person.

Been wanting to enjoy Manila and its surrounding destinations like a local? You can avail of the following fun tours at special prices:

The “Jeepney Cruise Party”, a unique Filipino nightlife experience of riding an air-conditioned Jeepney while having a grand videoke party onboard and unwinding at the Manila Bay for a dinner cruise.

The “Explore Malabon: Tricycle Food Tour”, the “Antipolo-Angono: Culinary and Arts Tour”, the “Freedom Trail: Intramuros – Cavite” and more are designed to make tourists understand Philippine history and experience local culinary culture in a fun and educational way.

For an exciting indulgence in Filipino fare, the “Flavors of the Philippines” is made available for those who want to taste and see authentic Filipino dishes through various cooking demonstrations, food sampling and selling of regional cuisines.

Aside from these great deals, visitors will also be treated to a showcase of the Philippine artistry by way of cultural performance and fashion shows during the exhibit in light of PHILTOA’s advocacy in the sustainable preservation of culture and heritage.
