Korean Film Festival 2016 at SM Cinemas

  • Korean Film Festival 2016 at SM Cinemas
  • Korean Film Festival, one of the largest celebrations of Korean cinema in the country showcases five blockbuster and critically acclaimed films at selected SM Cinemas from Sept. 8 to Oct. 16.

    With this year’s theme “Strong Hearts,” the festival features films with characters with strong personalities and those who pursue their goals and desires with courage and determination.

    This project is a joint partnership between the Korean Embassy’s Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines and SM Cinema. Other partners include the Korean Film Council (KOFIC), the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP), Film Cultural Exchange Program, the Korea Tourism Organization – Manila (KTO), and the Korea Copyright Commission.

    The featured films include Ode to My Father, The Beauty Inside, How to Use Guys with Secret Tips, Confession of Murder and The Suspect.

    Sep 8-11: CLARK (SM City Clark Cinema 3)

    Sep 15-18: DAVAO (SM Lanang Premier Cinema 1)

    Sep 22-25: ILOILO (SM City Iloilo Cinema 8)

    Sep 29-Oct 2: CEBU (SM City Cebu Cinema 5)

    Oct 6-9: CAVITE (SM City Dasmariñas Cinema 5)

    Oct 13-16: METRO MANILA (SM Megamall Cinema 6)
