Hatsuhana-tei is a Japanese restaurant located in the Herald Suites Hotel across from Little Tokyo in Makati, offering traditional Japanese cuisine that can be enjoyed with all five senses since its establishment in 2002. In addition to kaiseki, sushi, and sashimi, the restaurant offers a wide variety of a la carte dishes such as meat and fish dishes, specialty batella, and nishikimaki (sushi rolls). A unique and sophisticated looking Kaiseki set is another recommended menu item. You can enjoy a variety of dishes that reflect the season, ingredients, cooking methods, visual beauty, and hospitality of the restaurant and its guests. I myself have been an instructor at a culinary school in Quezon City for many years, and Hatsuhana-tei has been serving more than 1,400 dishes for about 20 years.
