While tucked inside a quiet residential village in Las Pi\u00f1as, Yexel\u2019s Toy Museum is hard to miss. The stark yellow building is guaranteed to turn heads, and even the most stoic of children wouldn’t be able to resist the promising, beckoning Lego-like facade.<\/span><\/p>\n

Yexel\u2019s Toy Museum<\/span><\/p>\n

Yexel Sebastian, the dedicated full-time toy collector and curator behind the museum, has amassed around 7,000 action figures and 100 life-sized figures (that his team created themselves) in the museum. While he has sleek, enviable 1\/6th<\/sup>-scale Batmobiles by Hot Toys and even the rare broken sword Shards of Narsil from Lord of the Rings<\/em>, he also displays obscure Disney toys that came free with Kiddie Meals.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Iron Man display<\/span><\/p>\n

For toy collectors and geeks, the most expensive and rare item in the museum is the Balrog head wall mount from Lord of the Rings<\/em>. The rare figures and masks from the Alien vs. Predator <\/em>room come a close second. These are not the only gems of Yexel\u2019s Toy Museum. Take your pick of famous anime series – Lupin, One Piece, Naruto, Detective Conan \u2013 <\/em>and the museum has them on display. There are also characters from games like Super Mario <\/em>and Crash Bandicoot, <\/em>the entire bunch of Marvel superheroes, and even classic American serial killers like Jigsaw, Freddy Krueger, and Michael Myers. Busts of heroes and villains such as Superman, Spiderman, Joker, and Nomak from Blade II <\/em>are kept in glass cases.<\/span><\/p>\n

Star Wars Room<\/span><\/p>\n

The Star Wars room, complete with life-sized Stormtroopers and Darth Vader, is a crowd favorite. The Iron Man room, with a shelf of incredibly-detailed Iron Man figures by Hot Toys and life-sized Iron Man suits next to them, can make any kid weep with envy. But the one thing that makes visitors\u2019 jaws drop is the humongous, ominous Optimus Prime. Complete with impressive lights and background music, the 18-foot behemoth from Transformers <\/em>is housed in its own room. Yexel\u2019s Toy Museum is the place to visit if you want to be dazzled; if you ever find yourself in the south, take the time to drop by.<\/span><\/p>\n
