The place was tainted by civilization; the river was dying and drowning in waste. But the people saw that. The local government did, too.<\/p>\n
<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6590\" src=\"http:\/\/primer.com.ph\/travel\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2017\/12\/IMG_3368.jpg\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/travel\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2017\/12\/IMG_3368.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/travel\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2017\/12\/IMG_3368-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/travel\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2017\/12\/IMG_3368-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n
Cleanup activities, participated by the citizens and businesses, were held until the river started breathing again. And now, it’s one of the most beautiful landmarks of the city.
