Sungay. It was originally intended as a grand guesthouse for U.S. President Ronald Reagan, who was set to visit the country in the early 1980s. However, the visit didn&#8217;t push through and the palace was soon abandoned, leaving behind an unfinished structure that has since been transformed into a beloved public park that takes you to the highest peak. Its elevated location boasts a 360-degree view of the surrounding areas, which make it an ideal spot for photography and sightseeing.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">While you can take a jeepney ride from the entrance to the top of the park, a ten-minute leisurely stroll up the hill is a rather good time for you to let your mind mellow out and appreciate the nature around you.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">At the viewing deck, visitors can rent binoculars for a closer look at the stunning Taal Volcano and the towns below. Rosa Tagaytay Rd. Continue straight then turn left to Tagaytay &#8211; Calamba Rd. People&#8217;s Park is located on top of Mt. Sungay.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li>By public transport: From One Ayala, take the bus to PITX, then another bound to Tagaytay and then get off at Olivarez Plaza. From there, there are several tricycles that you can hail going to People&#8217;s Park.
