It houses a museum on one part of its wing, and hold old photographs of the late Manuel L. Quezon, miniatures of Corregidor Island, and some paintings of Lideo Mariano portraying the agony during the World War II.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5805\" src=\"http:\/\/primer.com.ph\/travel\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2017\/09\/1-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/travel\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2017\/09\/1-1.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/travel\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2017\/09\/1-1-290x218.jpg 290w, https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/travel\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2017\/09\/1-1-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/travel\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2017\/09\/1-1-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The whole structure was designed by Francisco Ma\u00f1osa, while the murals and statue of a Filipino guerilla were sculpted by Manuel Casas.<\/p>\n<p>This structure has a carved murals featuring the revolutionary moments of the Philippine history, starting from the Battle in Mactan in 1521, until the first people power in 1986. It is said that it was inaugurated by former President Fidel V.
