When you visit Nagano, why not try snowshoeing. One of the popular place in the region where you can try this winter activity is in Norikura Kogen. \u00a0When in Norikura, stop by at Sanoya, \u00a0a lodge\/hotel that offers a complete tour to Zengorou Falls.\u00a0They offer snow gear equipment and quick lesson on how to snow shoe. The owner of Sanoya Hotel, Mr. Sasaki, will also be your guide during the hike. \u00a0Getting to and from the slopes in Norikura was a breeze, as it is not that hard for beginners. Basically, if you can walk, you can snowshoe. It\u2019s a 30-minute zigzag ascent to get to our destination\u2014the frozen Zengorou falls.\u00a0 The frozen waterfall glistens to a stunning blue color when hit by sunlight.<\/p>\n
