The Palacio De Laoag Hotel first opened in 1999 as a Spanish architecture-inspired hotel with modern amenities much like Fort Ilocandia, 2010 saw it go under new management. However, instead of scrapping the old idea, they decided to keep and improve on it.<\/p>\n

The hotel now stands as a testament to this idea which the new management calls a \u201cmini-Fort Ilocandia\u201d. It has that rustic charm coupled with modern amenities that government agencies seem to love for their seminars.<\/p>\n

Their rooms are great for families with kids on a trip to Laoag with their family rooms. It\u2019s also a great place for a group of friends to stay in thanks to their three dormitory-style rooms. These rooms are not extremely spacious, but they\u2019re larger compared to other hotels within the city of Laoag.<\/p>\n

The Palacio\u2019s function rooms are perfect for seminars or events. Each of their three function rooms is air conditioned, equipped with audio-visual equipment, and comes with a set menu that includes morning and afternoon snacks as well as lunch and dinner.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re feeling hungry, there\u2019s no need to go out of the hotel. Their in-house restaurant, Caf\u00e9 Marquez, has some of the best food in Laoag at prices that won\u2019t burn a hole in your pocket.. They also have Sultan Music Bar, open every Friday and Saturday, found at the third floor of the hotel.<\/p>\n
