The Funny Lion is a hotel established in November 2014 that welcomes guests who want to have the best spot to relax in Coron. Just 15 minutes away from the town proper, The Funny Lion gives its guest a peaceful place to be in, especially that most tourists would like to have an accommodation that will give them time to be stress free after adventure trips by the day.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Funny Lion got its name from the safari of the Calauit Island, where it is the only safari that does not have a lion. So it was decided that there should be a lion present, hence the name of the hotel.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Funny Lion has a total of 31 rooms that can accommodate a range of 80-90 guests all in all. Its peak season starts during the summer, where the hotel is usually fully booked.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Funny Lion has three types of rooms namely the cub room, King room, and the pride rock room. The cub room costs about 7,000 that is inclusive of breakfast and use of amenities. For King\u2019s room, it costs P7,500 per night. All rooms are well-equipped with TV and personal restrooms. The hotel has 32 rooms but one of them is a massage room that has a separate rate from the room accommodation.<\/span><\/p>\n

On the third floor, is where the bar\u2019s located. It is a bar atop the hotel with an overlooking view of the bay where tours are held, so it has a perfect backdrop for the place. It also has a great sunset view which makes it one of the best places to hang out at night. It has two small pools which guests can use if they want to relax and chill with friends. There are seats available for those who choose to drink than swim. For those who want a bigger pool, there is an infinity pool located beside the hotel restaurant where guests can swim more freely.<\/span><\/p>\n

Every weekend, the hotel has buffet offerings for those who would like to pleasure themselves for a weekend treat. On Saturday, they have a grilled buffet that costs 450 per person, and on Sunday they have a pizza and pasta buffet where you can make your own pizza according to your taste.<\/span><\/p>\n

The hotel rates are inclusive of breakfast for two and a roundtrip airport transport. For additional, it costs P1,000 per night.<\/span><\/p>\n
