The National Museum of the Philippines sets to reopen on June 19, 2021.<\/p>\n

After the approval made by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases\u00a0(IATF-EID)<\/strong> and the Department of Tourism (DOT) <\/strong>this week to resume operation of all historical places and museums in NCR Plus<\/strong>, the National Museum of the Philippines immediately announced they’re reopening through their SocMed account on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

In their Facebook post, the reopening is in line with the commemoration of Dr. Jose Rizal\u2019s 160th birth anniversary<\/strong>. However, there are only a few sections of the museum that will be opened for the public, namely the National Museum of Fine Arts, National Museum of Anthropology, and\/or National Museum of Natural History.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The National Museum also released guidelines for visitors and clarified that no walk-ins will be allowed to enter the establishment.<\/strong><\/p>\n
