Quezon. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The symbolic shrine built in the 1950s has three vertical pylons holding three angels at the top, which represent the three main islands of the Philippines: Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"534\" height=\"800\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-12717\" src=\"https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/travel\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2019\/08\/QMC-7.jpg\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/travel\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2019\/08\/QMC-7.jpg 534w, https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/travel\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2019\/08\/QMC-7-200x300.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 534px) 100vw, 534px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The 66-meter shrine that stands in the middle also serves as a mausoleum containing the president\u2019s remains\u00a0and home to a smaller museum holding\u00a0his memorabilia and collections.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"534\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-12718\" src=\"https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/travel\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2019\/08\/QMC-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/travel\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2019\/08\/QMC-1.jpg 800w, https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/travel\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2019\/08\/QMC-1-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/travel\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2019\/08\/QMC-1-768x513.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Meanwhile, the big white and beige house near the main entrance is the re-constructed Quezon Heritage House. The original house was first located in New Manila and was transferred to the circle to restore and preserve it. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Now, the house functions as a museum and considered as a local heritage site of Quezon City.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The newest and most recent addition to the museums is the <strong>Presidential Car Museum<\/strong> housing cars of this is a building tagged as the first interactive museum of the city, <strong>Quezon City Experience (QCX).\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The museum\u00a0recounts the history of the city through life-size exhibits, galleries, and a small theater that reveals the future plans for the thriving city.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"534\" class=\"aligncenter from museums, Quezon Memorial Circle serves as a big recreational ground that houses fitness and sports facilities, playgrounds, picnic areas, gardens, restaurants,\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">and a small amusement park called <strong>Circle of Fun<\/strong> <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">(currently under renovation)<\/span><\/i><span called <strong>Circle of Joy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>There is also a biking track that goes around the Circle of Fun and Circle of Joy, and you can rent a bike at the QMC Bicycle Station.<\/p>\n<p><img style=\"font-weight: 400\">While there are many food stalls around, most restaurants are concentrated in the southern part beginning from QCX.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" 400\">Meanwhile, the southwest side of the park, near the memorial shrine, conveniently offers city dwellers a place for meditation and a brief taste of solitude. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The area is filled with gardens adjacent to one another, the biggest being the green <strong>Tropical Garden<\/strong> and the more colorful <strong>Flower Garden<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>How to get here<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>By car: From EDSA, continue straight to\u00a0East Ave. Exit to Elliptical Road.<\/li>\n<li>By public transportation: Hop into a Fairview bus from EDSA, and then get off at Philcoa or Quezon City Hall.
