Uyami\u2019s Green View Lodge<\/b> is one of Banaue\u2019s pioneer lodges established over 30 years ago. The 7-story building located in downtown Banaue is a go-to lodge for most foreign travelers, especially Europeans.<\/span><\/p>\n

The origin for its name ‘Green View’\u00a0came from\u00a0the overlooking view of the green rice terraces that you can see from Uyami’s.<\/p>\n

There\u00a0are 22 rooms available with both <\/span>private rooms (Php 900 to Php 2,000)<\/b> and <\/span>common rooms (Php 250 per head)<\/b>. Each private room is equipped with a hot and cold shower and can accommodate 2 to 6 persons. Meanwhile, the common rooms come with a shared bathroom and are ideal for those who opt for a cheaper stay.<\/span><\/p>\n

There\u2019s also the <\/span>Chinese Chicken (P135)<\/b>, which is comprised of pineapples for a sweet finish but it will remind you more of chicken adobo.<\/span><\/p>\n

Another best seller is the <\/span>Chicken Tinola (P135)<\/b>, a chicken soup with chayote and green leafy vegetables grown in Banaue.<\/span><\/p>\n

The restaurant also accepts special meal requests, such as the\u00a0<\/span>Banaue classic <\/span>pinikpikan<\/span><\/i> or battered chicken dish. Just make sure to tell the staff\u00a0ahead of time to make sure they can accommodate you. <\/span><\/p>\n

Finally, Uyami also has their own souvenir shop filled with the best and cheapest wood carvings from Banaue\u2019s natives!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
