It is home to pristine white sand beaches and breathtaking spots.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">This includes two small island-like rock formations in its northern coast called the <strong>Dos Hermanos Islands.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10576\" src=\"http:\/\/primer.com.ph\/travel\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2019\/03\/Dos-Hermanos.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><em><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">The Dos Hermanos Islands in Pagudpud\u00a0are two cone-shaped mountains in Blue Lagoon.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Legend has it that these islands were once two brothers who vowed to be together until death that when they died during a storm, they emerged from the sea as the twin islands, thus its name which literally translates to \u201ctwo brothers\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Surrounding the small islands are the pristine turquoise water and the white sands of the beach shore just meters away. It is also a part of the enchanting Blue Lagoon, along with other spots such as the Bantay Abot Cave and Timmantang Rock or Lover\u2019s Rock.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Tourists frequently visit the islands, especially during low tide\u00a0season.\u00a0The nearby beaches along the Blue Lagoon are also a spot for paddle\u00a0boarding, surfing, and snorkeling activities where a lot of tropical fishes can be observed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"555\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-10589\" src=\"http:\/\/primer.com.ph\/travel\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2019\/03\/1552383536302-1024x555.jpeg\" alt=\"\" \/><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><em>IMAGE Provincial Government of Ilocos Norte<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">If you are planning to go near the islands, bring your aqua shoes as there are smaller rocks and corals under the water.<\/p>\n<p><strong><b>How to get here:<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>From Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte, take the Pan-Philippine Highway\/AH26 heading north-east. Once you reach the Barangay Balaoi welcome sign, make a left turn then drive straight ahead. You will pass by Bantay Abot Cave, Hannah\u2019s Beach Resort, and Casa Consuelo.
