  • People normally go to Boracay to enjoy its powdery white sand beaches, the spectacular sunsets, as well as the many things you can do on the beach: water sports, beach bumming, or partying well into the night.

After a long day of activities, you’d usually want to relax in a room away from all the action… yet still be close enough that you don’t need to go that far to enjoy a view of the beach when you wake up. Henann Garden Resort gives you all of these and so much more.

THE WELCOMING PARTY. A glimpse of what you’ll see once you step out of the lobby.

Henann Garden Resort used to be the Boracay Garden Resort, usually catering to Koreans and Chinese tourists that often flock to Boracay around May. It has 273 rooms, all equipped with air conditioning, a cable TV, bathtub with separate shower, and a safety deposit box.

THE PREMIER ROOM. Step out onto the balcony to get a view of the hotels’ pools and garden.

One of the hotel’s best rooms comes in their Premier Room (P8,288 per night). It’s good for 3 people with a king or queen-size bed and a single bed. The best thing about this room: it has a balcony overlooking the hotel’s four swimming pools and garden, as well as having complimentary breakfast for two.

GARDEN CAFÉ. Henann Garden’s in-house restaurant will make you think twice about leaving the hotel for food.

For dining options, there’s Garden Café, the resort’s in-house restaurant. It serves international dishes, with a focus on Asian cuisine. Buffet-style dining means you’ll never have to worry about being stuck with a single meal, while the ever-changing menu means you won’t grow tired of eating the same dish for every meal. You can also have your meals served in your room should you want to.

The hotel also houses Koryo – a hotspot for the hotel’s Korean guests with its Korean menu.

    Garden Pool Bar

THE POOL BAR. Enjoy your favorite cocktail as you sit by the pool.

The hotel also has a pool bar for those who don’t want to leave the hotel for a night cap or just want some time away from the revelry at the beach. The hotel also offers airport, land, and sea transfers for guests, so there’s no need to worry about trying to hail a van or tricycle to take you to the resort.

You can find the Henann Garden Resort at Station 2, Boracay Island. It’s beside its sister resorts: the Henann Regency and the Henann Lagoon. For reservations, you can call 02-353-1111 or email resort.hgb@henann.com. You can also visit their website at www.henann.com.

    Price range: P6,000 – P10,000 per night
