  • Davao City is one of the most recently popular travel destinations in the Philippines. It has lately attracted a lot of tourists ever since presumptive president Duterte was known to serve as the City Mayor there. Now, a lot of locals have started to explore what makes the city worth the visit.

    As the most highly-urbanized city in Mindanao, Davao City is packed with a lot of attractions that make the city more known. Davao is also known to be the home of Mount Apo, the highest mountain in the Philippines, and the Durian Capital of the Philippines.

    If you’re a nature lover you’ll instantly love Davao City. It is home to Eden Nature Park a well-known nature park and resort lined with pine trees and filled with ecotourism adventure for a fun experience. There’s also the D’ Bone Collector Museum which gives you a delightful sight of bone collection from animals where you can also learn important information which will also be loved by children. Of course if you’re one to seek a thrilling adventure, you can always climb Mount Apo where you can proudly say that you’ve climbed the highest in the Philippines.

    To go to Davao City, you can travel by air and you’ll land at the Francisco Bangoy International Airport where there are local airlines with direct flights. You can also travel by sea for travelers to Samal.

    For souvenirs, you can always bring home fresh durian and a lot of native delicacies from Davao City. Explore its islands, hop into their restaurants, and get to know its historic culture! See Mindanao and love its culture through Davao!
