It serves as a proof of a criminal record or the lack thereof. Expats can also apply and renew their NBI clearances; however, you can only do so at the NBI Main Office on UN Avenue, Ermita, Manila.<\/p>\n<p>In 2017, the NBI updated their system to be fully digital. From the online application and payment to the fingerprint scan, the system has become much faster for both expats and locals. Along with the system upgrade came an updated process. Here are the things you need to know before you apply for or renew your NBI Clearance.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Requirements<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Before applying online, you will need to present two (2) original valid IDs and photocopies. They must\u00a0be in good condition.<\/p>\n<p>The accepted IDs are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Passport<\/li>\n<li>Voter\u2019s ID<\/li>\n<li>Driver\u2019s License<\/li>\n<li>PRC License<\/li>\n<li>SSS ID<\/li>\n<li>GSIS UMID<\/li>\n<li>Postal ID<\/li>\n<li>School ID<\/li>\n<li>TIN ID<\/li>\n<li>PhilHealth ID<\/li>\n<li>Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR)<\/li>\n<li>Senior Citizen ID<\/li>\n<li>Previous Copy of NBI Clearance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Along with the two IDs, you will also need to bring the printed <strong>NBI form with Reference Number<\/strong> (accessible online after payment) and the <strong>receipt of payment<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Fee<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>The basic NBI Clearance for local employment requirement is only <strong>Php 130<\/strong>. Fees may vary depending on the purpose of the clearance.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Online Application<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Go to the NBI Clearance Online Service site:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/href.li\/?http:\/\/www.nbi-clearance.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.nbi.clearance.com<\/a>. Fill out the &#8220;REGISTER AS NEW ACCOUNT&#8221; section if you haven&#8217;t signed up for an account. The form will change\u00a0depending on your answer to the first question, DO YOU HAVE AN OLD NBI CLEARANCE? For renewal, you will need to input your old NBI number. The form will reset and you now can enter your e-mail and password on the SIGN IN bar on the top right of the page and click SIGN IN.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/philippineclearances.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/Step-3-Sign-in-to-your-NBI-Clearance-Account.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The form below will come out and should be filled out honestly. After which, this confirmation pop-up will ask for an ID. Type the kind of IDs you will be using. Choose your\u00a0date, schedule time (a.m. or p.m.), and payment option.<\/p>\n<p>Here, you can also choose the purpose of the clearance, whether\u00a0LOCAL or ABROAD. For local job requirement, select LOCAL. Keep your receipt that will also have the reference number printed out.<\/p>\n<p>Once again, you will want to go back to the website, sign in, and click on TRANSACTIONS. Your schedule should now say PAID. Click on PRINT APPLICATION FORM and bring it on your appointment.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">On-site\u00a0Pick-up<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>After all that, you will only need to show up at the NBI\u00a0office for a photo, signature, and fingerprint scan before having your clearance printed.<\/p>\n<p>Look for the Alien Registration Office\u00a0to be processed. You should get your\u00a0printed NBI clearance on the same day.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Reminders<\/span><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Expats can only be processed at the NBI Main Office at\u00a0NBI Building, Taft\u00a0Avenue, Ermita,\u00a0Manila<\/li>\n<li>Observe proper dress code.
