Secure your home before traveling.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Nothing can be more tempting for burglars than unattended homes. Before you leave, double check your windows and doors if they\u2019re locked. Unplug electronics and appliances, turn off the gas stove, and make sure to keep your valuables secured. If leaving for a longer period of time, ask a trusted friend or neighbor to look after your house from time to time. If you have security cameras installed, make you sure you can monitor the cameras as you leave.<\/p>\n
