Have you noticed that some of the products available or displayed in some department stores and retail stores are labeled with “Natural, Organic, Vegan, and Cruelty-free”?<\/strong> Are you one among the people who are still unsure of what it means and why it matters? There’s no need to be confused, as we’ll be classifying and guiding you through these labels.<\/p>\n

As time passes beauty products evolve, long gone are the days when ladies use simpler products or just a minimum of one product to maintain their beauty. In Cleopatra’s time (BC), they only used essential oils to keep their skin moisturized. Natural plants were applied on women’s skin as they figure out its uses.<\/p>\n

Natural and organic products are on the rise as of date. People who are aware and really cares\u00a0about the nourishment\u00a0of their skin are using them. It’s better to use paraben-free and talc-free products.<\/strong>\u00a0Both paraben and talcum powder have estrogen, which can increase the growth of breast cancer cells and are harmful to the skin.<\/p>\n

Natural and organic products are made from real plants or raw organic ingredients and are about 95% chemical free. It doesn’t harm or endanger your skin, rather it has antioxidants that boost and enables vitamins and natural toxins to be absorbed easily. Everyone is encouraged to use natural and organic products have healthy skin.<\/p>\n

Cruelty-free\u00a0are products or activities that do not harm or kill animals. For years, a lot of people have been in denial and have been clueless about animals being tested with different make-up and beauty products that can harm or even kill them. This is a social and environmental issue that needs to stop. Every year, month, week, and day animals are endangered and caged just for the expense of humans who are using chemical-based products.<\/p>\n

If you see a label that states “cruelty-free,” it means that the products are safe and aren’t tested on animals. Which is a great thing, as it enhances and ensures the item of being safe to the environment and to our skin! A lot of animal movement groups such as People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) have joined forces to stop this process and to convert people to go natural and organic.<\/p>\n

Vegan and cruelty-free are alike. Vegans reject the commodity status of animals, which is why they don’t use any products made of different animals and animal by-products, including milk. They believe that going natural and the organic way such as vegetables, fruits, and plants is the right thing to do. Vegan products are most likely to have dried, fresh ingredients.<\/p>\n
