UNESCO (The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) declared the 5th of October to be the World Teachers Day back in 1994 when a special intergovernmental conference in Paris, assembled by UNESCO, adopted UNESCO\/ILO (International Labor Organization) recommendation concerning the status of teachers.<\/p>\n

World Teachers\u2019 Day is an opportunity to memorialize teacher organizations all around the world and it also aims to show support to teachers, making sure that teachers continue to strive and contribute to the global framework of needs and requirements needed to build a strong foundation to a more capable and productive future generation.<\/p>\n

Countries all around the world celebrates Teacher\u2019s Day by pupils presenting gifts, flower and other kinds of token as an appreciation for their beloved teachers. It is mostly done around the world where pupils flood the teacher\u2019s desk with flowers, chocolates and hand-written letters and notes. In some countries, the school and its students organize special events dedicated for teachers where a series of performances such as dances, recitals, songs, and theatre are involved in the program.<\/p>\n
