In the Philippines, \u201cunlimited\u201d calls and texts are usually limited to numbers under your mobile network provider. This means if you are a Globe Telecom user, for instance, you can only call Globe numbers. Otherwise, you will get charged extra for texting and calling numbers from other providers.<\/p>\n

Normally, you\u2019ll be able to determine which network the number belongs to by looking at the first four digits. But now, with all the prefixes that have sprouted up, it has become confusing and difficult to determine whether you are calling a Globe, Smart, or Sun number.<\/p>\n
