They say evil spirits are stronger on Good Friday \u2013 mainly due to Christ\u2019s passion and death.<\/p>\n<p>In an article published by <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.rappler.com\/newsbreak\/iq\/88890-holy-week-superstitions-ph\">Rappler<\/a>, <\/em>former Catholic Bishop\u2019s Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) Monsignor\u00a0Pedro Quitorio III reminded the public not to focus too much on these superstitions during Holy Week. \u00a0&#8220;A person becomes a fool if his being a Christian is reduced to becoming superstitious.
