Upon arrival, ride a jeepney bound for Cabog-Cabog which would you at the foot of Mt. Other hikers say that this mountain is near to perfection. You\u2019ll also get to encounter cows and goats along the trail, and can enjoy the scenic view afterwards. Hikers can also do a sidetrip to Sombrero Island \u2013 a nearby island with a white sand beaches and pristine waters.<\/p>\n<p>HOW TO GO: Ride a Batangas bound bus and get off at the Batangas Grand Terminal. From there, ride a jeep going to Anilao and get off at the Philpan-Mabini Junction. From that area, ride a tricycle going to the registration site of Gulugod Baboy. It will cost you around P400 back and forth . Pinatubo must definitely be on your bucket list to hike this summer! Although slippery at times, hikers can enjoy the immensely beautiful view of the crater called Lake Pinatubo. The water changes from blue green to deep blue depending on the season.<\/p>\n<p>HOW TO GO: From Manila, take a bus from Pasay or Cubao to Capas, Tarlac, and get off at McDonalds in Capas. From there, you can either take one of the many waiting tricycles for the 24km ride direct to the Tourism Office\/Starting Point in Barangay Santa Juliana, or take a jeepney to Patling, then a tricycle to the Tourism Office\/Starting Point. It will costs you less that P1000.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong style=\"line-height: 1.5\">5. The trek offers stunning views of mountain ridges, Balayan bay, and landscape views.<\/p>\n<p>HOW TO GO THERE: Ride a DLTB bus bound for Nasugbu in Buendia Station. Get off\u00a0 at Evercrest (KC Hillcrest Golf Club). Ride a tricycle or walk towards the registration point. It has been said that this is the best mountain to climb if you want to get a 360 degree view of the Taal Lake.<\/p>\n<p>HOW TO GO THERE: If you\u2019re in Buendia or Cubao, ride a bus going to Batangas and drop off from Tambo exit.\u00a0 From tambo exit, ride a jeepney goind to lemery then get off at Cuenca. From Cuenca, ride a tricycle going to the main jump off point. It will cost you around P500 back and forth .<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong style=\"line-height: 1.5\">7. Continuous rugged trails, and treacherous cliffs await for first-time climbers, but it\u2019s worth the climb!<\/p>\n<p>HOW TO GO THERE: From there, go to coastal mall and ride a bus going to Ternate, Cavite. Get off the bus station and ride a tricycle to go to the DENR Registration site. Fare will cost you less than P500.<\/p>\n<p>For beginners, it is recommended to always pack light, be mentally and physically fit.
