It\u2019s done within the first 60 days of the calendar year. If you don\u2019t comply, you will risk losing your visa or deportation.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone who\u2019s done it, foreigner or otherwise, knows it\u2019s a chore to go through the process, especially if it&#8217;s your\u00a0first time. To ease your frustrations, the Bureau of Immigration (BI) has released the guidelines for the Annual Report 2016, which can be seen <a href=\"http:\/\/www.immigration.gov.ph\/images\/Advisory2016\/IOO_SBM-2015-041_2015Dec17.pdf\">here<\/a>. You are exempt from the entire process if you are a dual citizen.<\/p>\n<p>Applying for the Annual Report consists of four steps:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\">\u2022 Present your original ACR I-Card or paper-based ACR, passport visa page of latest arrival and official receipts of previous Annual Report payment.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\">\u2022 Secure the Order of Payment Slip.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\">\u2022 Pay the required immigration fees.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\">\u2022 Get the Official Receipt.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This can be done in person or online via the BI\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/vua.immigration.gov.ph\/\">Annual Report Online Filing System<\/a>. A personal appearance is required, but there are exemptions:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\">\u2022 Those below 14 or above 65 years old (legal guardian can go in your place)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\">\u2022 Those who are mentally or physically incapacitated, provided a medical certificate with a written request for exemption is sent to the BI one week ahead of when you want to go, subject to the BI Medical Officer\u2019s approval (you can call their Medical Clinic at 465-2400 loc. 106, 128-129 or 527-3303)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>However, if you really cannot appear in person, you can send someone else to do it for you. Just make sure they have the following*:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\">\u2022 Special Power of Attorney (SPA)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\">\u2022 Valid government-issued ID of legal representative<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\">\u2022 Presentation of a valid original passport of the applicant<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\">\u2022 P500 Express Lane payment for non-appearance<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Here is a list of facts for the Annual Report:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Who can apply? <\/strong>All registered aliens and ACR I-Card holders except Temporary Visitor\u2019s Visa holders or Tourist Visa holders.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Where to apply?<\/strong> BI Main Office (Magallanes Dr, Intramuros, Manila, Metro Manila) or other immigration offices (click <a href=\"http:\/\/immigration.gov.ph\/images\/DirectoryOfTransactions\/DOF_2016Jan14.pdf\">here<\/a> for a complete list); or you can also go online <a href=\"http:\/\/vua.immigration.gov.ph\/\">here<\/a> and avoid the hassle of filling up a form by hand.<\/p>\n<p><strong>When to apply?<\/strong> The Annual Report 2016 will be held from January 4 to March 3, 2016.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How much does it cost? <\/strong>The Annual Report (AR) fee itself is P300, with a P10 Legal Research Fee (LRF). Late compliance (i.e. beyond March 3, 2016) will mean a fine of P200 per month.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\">\u2022 Your original ACR I-Card<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\">\u2022 Official Receipt amounting to P310<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\">\u2022 For those who failed to accomplish the AR forms online in the previous Annual Reports:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px\">\u00b7 an online encoding of BI AR Form 2014-08-002A Rev 1 or 2014-08-002B Rev 1 via the AR 2016 online system; and<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px\">\u00b7 presentation of the printed AR 2016 confirmation number with reportee information details issued by the BI website (click <a href=\"http:\/\/vua.immigration.gov.ph\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\">\u2022 For those with CA 613 and RA 562-related issues:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px\">\u00b7 An undertaking to fulfill BI obligations<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>*Note: this only applies if you do not have any deficiencies under Commonwealth Act (CA) 613 (<\/em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.immigration.gov.ph\/images\/ImmigrationLaw\/1.%20CA%20613.pdf\"><em>click here<\/em><\/a><em>) or Republic Act (RA) 562 (<\/em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.immigration.gov.ph\/images\/ImmigrationLaw\/addIL\/RA%20562.pdf\"><em>click here<\/em><\/a><em>).<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; Annual Reports are something that every foreigner living in the Philippines has to go through.
