The Mind Museum<\/strong> is now ready to meet new batches of cute and young aspiring scientists in their Junior Mind Mover Program<\/strong> happening from April to May 2020<\/strong> at The Mind Museum, Taguig City<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Junior Mind Mover (JMM) Program<\/strong>\u00a0will allow the\u00a0kids to go behind-the-scenes of the museum\u2019s galleries and exhibits. With the help of the museum’s resident scientists, they will also have an exciting introduction to different kinds of science.<\/p>\n

Not only that, new friends and unforgettable memories also await the young thinkers!<\/p>\n

The JJM Program has three sets of classes depending on the enrollee’s age. These classes are classified as TOTS<\/strong> for ages four to six years old, Primes<\/strong> for ages seven to nine years old, and Tweens<\/strong> for ages 10 to 12 years old.<\/p>\n

TOTS<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The TOTS\u00a0program<\/strong> will “tickle the curiosity” of the students through stories and play. It will be a help to discover\u00a0the\u00a0story of science\u00a0through\u00a0games, crafts, and play-learning.<\/p>\n

The sessions\u00a0are scheduled on all\u00a0Tuesdays<\/strong>, Thursdays<\/strong>, and Saturdays\u2060 <\/strong>from\u00a0April 14<\/strong>\u00a0to\u00a0May 2, 2020<\/strong>. These are nine half-day sessions that will be conducted from 9:30 a.m.<\/strong> to 12 p.m.<\/strong>\u00a0TOTS program will also culminate with a graduation party together with\u00a0the students’ friends and family.<\/p>\n

Primes<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The Primes\u00a0program<\/strong> is all about building science skills through teamwork. This will challenge the students with\u00a0problem-solving\u00a0which\u00a0will be done through\u00a0hands-on experiments,\u00a0imaginative thinking, and\u00a0science-sharing.<\/p>\n

Scheduled on Tuesdays<\/strong>, Thursdays<\/strong>, and Saturdays <\/strong>from April 14<\/strong> to May 2<\/strong>, sessions will run from 1:30 p.m.<\/strong> to 5:30 p.m.<\/strong> This program will also be wrapped up with a graduation party where they will\u00a0perform\u00a0for their family.<\/p>\n

Tweens<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The Tweens program<\/strong> is set to gear up the next generation of science communicators through dynamic exercises, which will equip the students to take part in the creation of science culture in their circles.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Whole day sessions are scheduled on\u00a0Tuesdays<\/strong>, Thursdays<\/strong>, and Saturdays<\/strong>\u00a0starting from\u00a0May 12<\/strong>\u00a0to\u00a021.<\/strong>\u00a0The students will also design and host their own graduation party where their families could attend.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Aside from\u00a0exciting activities and take-home souvenirs, the program fee will also cover the\u00a0JMM kit,\u00a0<\/strong>which comes with a bag,\u00a0JMM t-shirt and\/or JMM Lab Coat (Primes and Tweens), journal, pencil or crayons, as well as all-day museum access<\/strong> for the students on the days of the program, and graduation passes<\/strong> and food stubs (for 4 guests per child).<\/p>\n
