It is run by an Australian chef and his Filipina wife. It was originally an Italian restaurant called Picolo Mondo but they added Israeli, Turkish, Greek, and North African cuisines to the menu. Thus, they changed and named it after the owner\u2019s mom \u2013 Sophia. The restaurant is small but serves a family-size portion of their dishes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">As much as possible, they only use organic vegetables for their salad. Eighty percent of the meat is imported from Australia and the US. One of their best-sellers is the Arrabiatta (Photo 2) which is topped with olives, tomatoes, salami and sausages. Another is for the health concious, the Vegetarian Pizza (Photo 3). They cook fresh pizza and nothing is frozen.
