  • Osaka Takoyaki in Parañaque (CLOSED)
  • UPDATED as of January 15, 2019: This restaurant is CLOSED.

Osaka Takoyaki started when founder Hiroaki Hamada noticed that most Japanese restaurants in the Philippines only offer traditional Japanese food such as ramen or sushi. Because of that, he thought of opening a restaurant that highlights Takoyaki, a ball-shaped Japanese snack as a main dish for a change.

They first opened their flagship store in February 2017 and now, they currently have 14 branches around Metro Manila. Osaka Takoyaki is not a franchise that came from Japan; they built the brand here in the country . However, the ingredients they use are sourced from Japan. They use special takoyaki sauce and Japanese mayonnaise for their dishes. Osaka Takoyaki is the first of its kind here in the Philippines as they take pride of their authentic Japanese taste.

    Okonomiyaki Mix Special (Php 320)

The company is planning on expanding regionally, which means other neighboring countries will soon have Osaka Takoyaki franchise. Here’s a tip: whenever they have a new branch opening, they offer Php 9  takoyaki for 8 pcs instead of the usual Php 150. Be one of their first 100 guests when they open a new branch of Osaka Takoyaki!
