My Street High Street Initiative Brings Benguet Goods to BGC
Due to the pandemic, local farmers all over the country are currently struggling to make both ends meet. Even Benguet, the Salad Bowl of the Philippines, is still having a hard time getting back on its feet mainly due to the devastating effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
That’s why Bonifacio Global City is trying to help the displaced farmers earn a living. Through the My Street High Street initiative, local farmers can now sell their products to BGCitizens every weekend this March 2021.
This event brings you Benguet staples such as the famous ube jam from Good Shepherd, brewed coffee, mixed greens, and fresh strawberries are also up for grabs. The good thing about this, there’s no middle man cost involved, which means consumers can enjoy farm-to-table goods for a much cheaper price.
