With a loyal customer base of students, families, and food enthusiasts, Doon Thai became a local favorite in Malate, known for its generous servings and welcoming ambiance. Recognizing the demand for their signature Thai meals, the restaurant soon expanded its concept to offer both indoor and al fresco seating, providing more options for diners to enjoy the experience.

    In 2020, the family behind Doon Thai saw the opportunity to reach a broader audience and opened their second branch at the Paseo de Magallanes Commercial Center.     In 2023, Doon Thai further evolved by introducing LOÓB Coffee, a specialty café within the restaurant.
