Nevertheless, the island is quickly being brought back to life with young restaurants that serve the freshest and the most sumptuous food, resorts that face the most beautiful sunset, activities that awaken the adventurous soul in you, and a nightlife slowly rising into being one of the best in the country.<br \/>\n<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Join Philippine Primer as we take you to <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">the<\/span><\/i> <i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">new Boracay <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">we have all been waiting for.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Getting to Boracay<\/h3>\n<p>There are two ports of entry for visitors of Boracay:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Manila (MNL) to Caticlan Airport (MPH)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Caticlan Airport is usually more preferred than Kalibo Airport because it is closer to Caticlan Jetty Port. However, airfares are usually higher.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Manila (MNL) to Kalibo Airport (KLO)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">From KLO, you have to take a two to three-hour van ride to Caticlan Jetty Port, which costs P200\/head.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Once at Caticlan Jetty Port, have the following ready:<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Hotel booking confirmation<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Confirmation voucher from the hotel<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Aklan Terminal Fee: P100\/head<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Environmental &amp; Admission Fee: P75\/head<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Boat Fee: P25\/head\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> You will land on Cagban Jetty Port in Boracay Island. It is best to arrange your transfers with your hotel. Otherwise, there are e-tricycles and vans outside the port that can bring you to your hotel.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Getting around the Island<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> E-tricycle fare rates:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">1. From Brgy. Manoc Manoc (near Cagban Jetty Port) to Station 2 or 3: P150<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">2. From Brgy. Manoc Manoc (near Cagban Jetty Port) to Station 1: P300 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">3. Special or exclusive ride from station to station: P100<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">4.
