While the local film Siargao (2017) has been pointed out as the driver of the stream of tourists frequenting the island, the sheer beauty of the place plus the stories of visitors who never left Siargao can speak for the island&#8217;s charm. No wonder Siargao was also crowned the \u201cBest Island in Asia\u201d by New York-based luxury travel magazine, Conde Nast Traveler, in October 2018.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Join us as we explore this mystical island, where there are many secret spots to discover, restaurants to fill one&#8217;s stomach, and experiences in nature to fill everybody&#8217;s heart.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Going to Siargao Island<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u2022 From Manila, few domestic airlines, including <\/span><b>Skyjet Airlines<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">,<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">offers direct flights daily to Siargao. Other airlines also offer flights to Siargao via Cebu.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u2022 The arrival point is at Siargao Domestic Airport or <\/span><b>&#8220;Sayak Airport,\u201d<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> located in Del Carmen. From there, it will take roughly 45 minutes to reach the municipality of <\/span><b>General Luna<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. There are tricycles outside the airport to transport passengers to General Luna, which costs P300 per person. Other options are van and <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">habal-habal <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">(motor bike).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Going Around the Island<\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0<b>Tricycles <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">and<\/span> <b><i>habal-habal<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> are the common modes of transport around Siargao.
