Now, with their chosen Matilda, the magic continues on here in the Philippines.<\/p>\n<p>Starting\u00a0November 10 to December 10, 2017, everyone can watch a live performance of <strong>Matilda the Musical<\/strong> at the\u00a0Meralco Theater, Ortigas Ave. cor. Meralco Ave., Ortigas Center, Pasig City. The schedule for the show will be, 8 pm on Fridays, 2 pm on Weekdays, 2 pm and 8 pm on Saturdays, and 2 pm on Sundays.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-9794\" src=\"https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/event\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2017\/07\/poster_matilda1.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The musical is inspired by the twisted genius of Roald Dahl and has won five Tony Awards for Best Musical. Roald Dahl&#8217;s Matilda The Musical is an absolute masterpiece from the Royal Shakespeare Company that depicts the anarchy of childhood, the power of one&#8217;s imagination. From the book of Dennis Kelly and original songs by Tim Minchin, Matilda has won 47 international awards.<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=dZnuL1kVTkc<\/p>\n<p>The story is about Matilda, a little girl who is observant, smart and has psychokinetic powers. Her parents, Harry and Zinnia, and her brother Michael ignore and mistreat her.<\/p>\n<p>Often being left alone at home every weekday when her father is at work, her mother is playing bingo, and Michael is at school, \u00a0Matilda goes to the public library and reads books. She soon impresses her school teacher, the highly loveable Miss Honey.<\/p>\n<p>Follow her story as she tries to win against the bullies in her school and their headmistress\u00a0Miss Trunchbullwho hates children.<\/p>\n<p>Adults and children will surely enjoy the show and it&#8217;s better to watch it with family and friends. Although they will apply age restriction, recommended for ages 7 and above. Children under the age of 4 will not be permitted in the theater.
