{"id":7086,"date":"2017-03-15T10:41:35","date_gmt":"2017-03-15T02:41:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/primer.com.ph\/event\/?p=7086"},"modified":"2017-03-15T14:39:10","modified_gmt":"2017-03-15T06:39:10","slug":"learn-more-about-travel-photography-with-ricky-ladia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/event\/2017\/03\/15\/learn-more-about-travel-photography-with-ricky-ladia\/","title":{"rendered":"Learn more about travel photography with Ricky Ladia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">This March 25, join critically acclaimed photographer Ricky Ladia as he allows us to capture emotions and stories during our travels through another Travel photography workshop happening at the Ayala Museum.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7087\" src=\"https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/event\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/10\/2017\/03\/Travel-Photography.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ricky Ladia worked as a photographer at an advertising and publishing company in the Middle East for two years where he specialized in taking detailed photos of artifacts and reproducing paintings and old photographs.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ladia later took on freelance work for mainstream magazines from reputable publishing companies such as Eastgate Publishing (Mabuhay Magazine), ABS-CBN, Summit Media and Hinge-Inquirer Publications. He has also shot for first-class hotels, resorts, fashion and retail brands, and has done celebrity profiles, among other things.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ladia is also known for his food photography, having worked with several food magazines, as well as with various restaurants and culinary schools in the country. He also dabbles with fashion photography, having done covers for leading style publications. While Ladia considers himself a generalist photographer who does not want to limit his creativity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Workshop outline:<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> * Photography in the digital age<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> * The essentials of travel photography<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> * Photojournalism and travel photography<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> * Packing your bags like a travel photographer<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> * Travel photography photo editing ethics<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> * Caring for cameras and other equipment<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The workshop fee is P 3,800 inclusive of materials, handouts, snacks, a certificate, one day free admission to the museum and one day free access to the library. The deadline for reservations is on March 11, 2017.
