The Manila Tango Festival and Championship returns for the 7<sup>th<\/sup> straight year this April 27 to May 3, 2015!<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The <strong>Manila Tango Festival and Championship<\/strong> is a celebration of the dance style tango, which originated along the Rio de Plata in South America in the 1890s. Competitions, workshops, and performances from world-renowned tango dancers are set to be staged during the festival.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Celebrate tango all week long with:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">\u2022 The<strong> Fringe Mini Marathon Festival (Tango in Manila By Night), <\/strong>a three-night Milonga at the best tango venues in town happening from April 27 to 29,<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">\u2022 A <strong>Welcome Night Milonga<\/strong> to give a warm Filipiniana welcome to the artists and overseas participants on April 30,<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">\u2022 The <strong>Manila Tango Championship<\/strong>, Asia\u2019s only home-grown Tango championship, to be held at the Makati Cinema Square on May 1,<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">\u2022 The <strong>TANGOBLITZ MASTERS SHOW <\/strong>at Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) with breathtaking performances from the TangoBlitz Masters!<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The Grand Milonga follows the Masters Show under giant chandeliers. Savor the elegance and magnificence of this iconic structure as Tango is showcased in all its entrancing facets, from traditional Tango Salon, Tango Escenario, Fantasia to its more modern and innovative styles.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">There will also be <strong>week-long tango workshops<\/strong> at the Makati Cinema Square.
