It is sustained globally by +SocialGood, a community which shares world-changing ideas to spark action in our social media era. Rappler’s Maria Ressa is one of its 5 global advisors.<\/span><\/p>\n On its fifth year, the Philippines Social Good Summit will teach the innovation process through a solution-simulation forum where participants learn, connect, and act.<\/span><\/p>\n #HackSociety, an ideathon that harnesses the new democratic space in order to crowdsource \u201chacks\u201d that aim to address these core issues:<\/span><\/p>\n \u2022 Education and Jobs<\/span><\/p>\n \u2022 Food, Agriculture & Poverty Alleviation<\/span><\/p>\n \u2022 Accountability & Governance<\/span><\/p>\n \u2022 Environment and Disasters<\/span><\/p>\n \u2022 Peace & development<\/span><\/p>\n #HackSociety is an experiment where decision-makers will meet citizens, and where both will work together to solve common problems and challenges.
