The Symphonic World of Studio Ghibli<\/span><\/span><\/strong> is set to take place from July 31 to August 2, 2026<\/strong> at The Theatre at Solaire in Para\u00f1aque<\/span><\/span><\/strong>, bringing the music of Studio Ghibli films<\/strong> to the concert stage.<\/p>\n

Presented by Film Concerts PH<\/span><\/span><\/strong> as its second independent production, the purely orchestral program will feature original scores by Joe Hisaishi<\/span><\/span><\/strong> from Howl\u2019s Moving Castle<\/span><\/span><\/strong>, Spirited Away<\/span><\/span><\/strong>, My Neighbor Totoro<\/span><\/span><\/strong>, and Kiki\u2019s Delivery Service<\/span><\/span><\/strong>. The scores will be performed live by the 83-piece Filharmonika Orchestra<\/span><\/span><\/strong> under the baton of Gerard Salonga<\/span><\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

August 1, 2026<\/strong> \u2013 2:00 p.m.

August 2, 2026<\/strong> \u2013 2:00 p.m.<\/p>\n

Each show runs for approximately two hours<\/strong>, including a 20-minute intermission<\/strong>.The concert is recommended for guests aged six and above<\/strong>, and children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Guests may attend in themed attire inspired by Studio Ghibli films or in semi-formal wear.<\/p>\n

Tickets are now available through TicketWorld<\/strong> <\/a>and physical outlets. Each customer may purchase a maximum of four tickets per transaction<\/strong>. Senior citizen, PWD, and diplomat discounts are available through TicketWorld outlets. Refunds are only available for guests who selected refundable tickets during checkout. Tickets are non-transferable and cannot be upgraded to another tier or transferred to another show date.<\/p>\n

For venue access, both printed and digital e-tickets will be accepted upon entry. Guests needing PWD seat reassignment may contact TicketWorld directly.<\/p>\n

The event is mounted in partnership with The Japan Foundation, Manila<\/span><\/span><\/strong> and is endorsed by Studio Ghibli<\/span><\/span><\/strong>. It is also an official commemorative event for the Philippines-Japan Friendship Year 2026<\/strong>, marking the 70th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between the Philippines and Japan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
