IGNITE, the Philippines\u2019 premier international innovation conference, returned this year with a transformative edition that gathered the brightest minds in technology, business, and investment under one roof.<\/p>\n

Held on October 15, 2025<\/strong>, at Fairmont Makati<\/strong>, IGNITE 2025<\/strong> carried the theme \u201cGateway ASEAN: Expanding Markets, Empowering Growth,\u201d<\/strong> turning the venue into a hub of ideas, strategic networking, and cross-border collaborations that reinforced the Philippines\u2019 role as a bridge in the ASEAN startup ecosystem.<\/p>\n

The conference opened with inspiring remarks from key figures shaping the region\u2019s innovation landscape Executive Director of JETRO Manila Kazuo Nakamura<\/strong>, Director III of the DICT\u2013ICT Industry Development Bureau \u00a0Jhino Illano,\u00a0 <\/strong>and Chief Technology Transfer Officer of DOST\u2013PCIEERD Russel Pili<\/strong>. Their messages underscored a shared vision for ASEAN\u2019s digital growth and set a collaborative tone for the day.<\/p>\n

One of the day\u2019s most anticipated segments was the JETRO Co-Innovation Pitch Session<\/strong>, which featured Japanese corporation Enebloom<\/strong> alongside Filipino startups Better-ed<\/strong>, Klimatech<\/strong>, Hotelblock.ai<\/strong>, and Alerto<\/strong>.
