Those who are not eligible under the conditions of Category 1 or 2 falls under Category 3. However, those who are eligible for Category 1 or 2, but with a \u00a0high level of Nihongo proficiency may apply for Category 3.<br \/>\n2. Must not have been a recipient of the \u201cOutstanding Performance Award\u201d or &#8220;Grand Champion Award\u201d, in the case of previous winners of Category 1 or 2.<\/p>\n<p><strong>General Conditions:<br \/>\n<\/strong>1. Must be a Filipino citizen or a non-Japanese citizen who currently resides in the Philippines and with a \u201cpermanent resident\u201d status.<br \/>\n2. Japanese is not the first nor the native language (mother tongue).<br \/>\n3. Must be at least 18 years old by June 1, 2022.<br \/>\n4.
