The Philippine United Okinawa Association, Inc. (PUOA) announced the first-ever Okinawa Food Festival this coming November 14 at the Ayala Malls Circuit in Makati.<\/p>\n

The festival aims to promote Okinawa, Japan through food and fresh products.<\/p>\n

Aside from the Food Festival, the event will also hold the 1st Ryuku Awamori Contest at the same time.<\/p>\n

THINGS TO DISCOVER IN OKINOWA\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

There will be a program that many guests can enjoy. Participants can have a taste of Okinawa through food tasting with specialty dishes such as Okinawa soba noodles and Rahutee (braised pork belly in soy sauce with awamori) and many more. Aside from that, a video presentation will be presented to showcase unique places to visit in Okinawa, Japan.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, at the Ryukyu Awamori Competition, visitors will be able to taste and compare different types of Awamori and learn how to drink in a traditional way.<\/p>\n

The event will be held at the Ayala Malls Circuit in Makati this coming November 14.<\/strong> The event is sponsored by Philippine United Okinawa Association, Inc. and Co-sponsored by Okinawa Prefectural Industrial Promotion Corporation and Okinawa Bussan Kosha Washita Shop, Co. Ltd.<\/p>\n

Other participants of the event are Ironman Steakhouse, Araya Ramen Food Corporation, Seiji Kamura, Owner Chef of MOGU Restaurant, and HONOBONO Corporation.<\/p>\n
