In celebration of National Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Month,\u00a0Metro Retail Stores Group, Inc. (MRSGI) partnered with\u00a0Vicsal Foundation Inc. (VFI) to bring the first-ever shop-for-a-cause virtual bazaar titled Virtual Metro Community Bazaar<\/strong> happening on July 6\u00a0 to 31, 2020<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

With the theme\u00a0\u201cWe Rise as One Metro Family\u201d<\/strong>, the activity is part of the ongoing efforts of MRSGI and VFI to extend care to vulnerable communities across the Philippines.<\/p>\n

A bevy of food selections and lifestyle merchandise from select social enterprise brands, fun learning activities, and live Metro Community Talks featuring MRSGI’s CSR partners will be available via the First Virtual Metro Community Bazaar site at\u00a0metroretail.com.ph\/bazaar<\/a>, and The Metro Stores Facebook page<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Gourmet food products\u00a0by Caritas Margins, a program that provides skills and entrepreneurship training to marginalized sectors, and Moringa Tea from GreenEarth Foundation are up for grabs at the bazaar.<\/p>\n

Foodies will also enjoy healthy and portion-controlled meals from MDF Diet2Go, Bukidnon\u2019s\u00a0adlai<\/em>\u00a0rice from Kiboa Ridge Farms, and tasty snacks from SeaKid. Virtual shoppers can also avail of fresh produce from MAD Market and Blessed Earth Farm.<\/p>\n

Aside from shopping for food products, Metro\u2019s own Suisse Cottage is opening its doors to teach baking-for-livelihood learning sessions with Metro\u2019s easy-to-bake recipes that enable participants to create their own batches of goodies.<\/p>\n

Sustainable lifestyle products from Coca Cola\u2019s Women Artisans of Tondo and local brands Bambuhay, Likha Lokal, and Wow Carmen Handicraft are also available.<\/p>\n
