Music and community-driven event series UNKNWN is taking the leap with the launch of an annual festival\u2013UNKNWN.Fiesta.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Happening\u00a0on February 22, 2020<\/strong>\u00a0at Puerta Real Gardens<\/strong>, Intramuros<\/strong>, the festival is a celebration of Filipino heritage and culture through the merging of local and international music, art, food, and design.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, it hopes to highlight environmental awareness through sustainable event solutions.<\/p>\n

UNKNWN.Fiesta will use all areas of the Gardens and create a more immersive setting with multiple stages, art installations, and a variety of food options that will have them waxing nostalgic about their Manila childhoods\u2014or give them a taste of Old Manila if they never got to experience it.<\/p>\n

Enjoy the three stages<\/strong> of\u00a0UNKNWN.Fiesta\u2014Abanico Stage, Jeepney Stage and UNKNWN Village. These are made in collaboration with local artists Leeroy New and Paul Jatayna.\u00a0The festival will also be showcasing art installations by Jessica Dorizac & Miguel Aquilizan and Zeus Bascon. Taking inspiration from Filipino heritage and culture, and the country\u2019s environmental issues.<\/p>\n

Eccentric acts will comprise the Phase 1 festival line-up including international artists Hercules & Love Affair and Louisahhh. Hercules & Love Affair<\/strong>\u00a0is a project of American DJ Andy Butler, and consists of a rotating cast of members well known for their house, disco, techno, and nu-disco tracks.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Loisahhh<\/strong> is a\u00a0DJ whose global success straddles the world of techno, industrial, pop, and punk. She also owns the RAAR music label.<\/p>\n

You also shouldn’t miss the local performers in the mix such as Joey Abando<\/strong> (lead singer of Boyfriends),\u00a0Big Hat Gang Live<\/strong>,\u00a0Similarobjects<\/strong>,\u00a0Adrianne b2b Dignos<\/strong>,\u00a0Badkiss<\/strong>, and Arbie Won<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Phase 2 of the festival includes acts such as Hot Chip, Friendly Fires, Kamma & Masalo,\u00a0\u00a0Arbie Won, Badkiss, Bins, Jason Soong, Hernandez Brothers & Lustbass, Joee & I, Toni\u00a0Bernardo & Imperatriz Filipinese with D\u2019 Armour Drum and Lyre Band, Jose David, Les Maladroits, Pamcy, Red-i, Squid 9, Tarsius, and UNKNWN Residents.<\/p>\n
