The Department of Trade and Industry Regional Office 8 is bringing the treasures and wealth of Eastern Visayas\u00a0to the heart of Metro Manila in the\u00a0annual BAHANDI Eastern Visayas Trade Fair. <\/strong>It’s\u00a0happening on October 3 to 7<\/strong>, 2019<\/strong> at SM Megamall<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This year, buyers and visitors are in for a treat as the trade fair will serve as a go-to place for\u00a0handcrafted fashion accessories, housewares, decors, furniture, and food proudly crafted by the locals of Samar, Leyte, <\/strong>and Biliran<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A total of 151 producer-exhibitors from the home styles, wearables, and processed food sectors\u00a0will participate in the 5-day fair. Prototypes\u00a0of newly-developed products and packaging innovation from industrial companies and\u00a0local programs will also be put on exhibit.<\/p>\n

Also present in\u00a0Bahandi 2019\u00a0is Go Lokal!,\u00a0<\/strong>a local\u00a0market access platform to\u00a0 micro, small and medium enterprises that supply local products to\u00a0Rustan\u2019s, SM, Glorietta, Robinsons Place, City Mall, Duty Free Philippine Fiesta Mall, select Shopwise Stores, Enchanted Kingdom theme park, and Ninoy Aquino International Airport.<\/p>\n

With a\u00a0total target sales\u00a0of\u00a0Php 35 million,\u00a0Bahandi 2019 aims to increase the visibility of micro and small entrepreneurs in both domestic and global markets, as well as to\u00a0establish reliability, dependability, and consistency as suppliers of quality goods to buyers.<\/p>\n

The trade fair is set to be a marketing platform for local and international buyers to see high-quality Eastern Visayan products.<\/p>\n
