For over a decade, Jay Park has been at the forefront of the R&B music industry catching the eyes and ears of the public. He successfully made his name known all over the world as an independent hip-hop and R&B artist through incorporating a mixture of both Western and Asian elements in his music.<\/span><\/p>\n

His musical history came from his passion for dance and genuine enthusiasm for hip-hop and culture, embracing both his American and Korean roots.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jay rose to fame as the former leader of 2PM, a South Korean boy band under JYP Entertainment in 2008. He left the group in 2010 and released his first EP, Count on Me<\/em>,\u00a0after his Youtube cover video of B.o.B\u2019s hit song \u201cNothin\u2019 on You\u201d became viral online.<\/span><\/p>\n
