What’s the current state of the Philippine Eagle in Apayao? The Mind Museum brings Dr. Jayson Ibanez<\/strong> of the Philippine Eagle Foundation for\u00a0Cafe Scientifique: Saving the Philippine Eagle<\/strong> this\u00a0July 13, 2019\u00a0<\/strong>at The Mind Museum, Taguig City<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Philippine Eagle is the Philippines’ National Bird that is native to the country’s southern islands. However, they have found a new home in Luzon\u2014particularly in the province of Apayao in the Cordillera Mountains\u2014as part of the efforts to help conserve and protect one of the country’s national symbols.<\/p>\n

The Mind Museum brings in\u00a0biologist and conservationist\u00a0Dr.\u00a0Jayson Ibanez <\/strong>of the Philippine Eagle Foundation <\/strong>to share his experiences\u00a0from his\u00a0recent expedition to the Philippine Eagle nesting grounds in Apayao. He’ll also talk about the conservation efforts for the Philippine Eagle.<\/p>\n

Cafe\u00a0Scientifique is a movement that aims to bring science closer to people through discussions and conversations.<\/p>\n

The event is open for all and is free<\/strong> of charge. However, seats are limited so interested participants are advised to register here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Also note that admission to\u00a0Cafe\u00a0Scientifique\u00a0does not\u00a0<\/strong>give you access to The Mind Museum’s galleries<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
