The biggest and longest-running book fair in Manila is back on <\/span>September 11 <\/b>to<\/strong> <\/span>15, 2019\u00a0<\/b>at the <\/span>SMX Convention Center Manila. <\/b>Like before, you can enjoy\u00a0big discounts and\u00a0exciting activities that will bring out the bookworm in you!<\/span><\/p>\n

For four decades,\u00a0the Manila International Book Fair (MIBF)<\/strong> has\u00a0continued its goal of instilling the love for reading among Filipinos.\u00a0It has been\u00a0very successful as 150,000 people are expected to attend this year’s event, with a big portion being regulars who do not want to miss this annual affair (and its perks).<\/p>\n

During the MIBF, the SMX Convention Center is transformed into a haven of books and other reading materials from all sorts of genres and topics. Even though\u00a0almost everything now is available online, it’s refreshing to know that people are still\u00a0thrilled to buy and read printed books.<\/p>\n

Aside from catering to book lovers, different\u00a0players in the publishing industry also have the chance to engage and collaborate in MIBF.\u00a0Over 100 publishing companies and related industries\u00a0are expected to showcase their products this year.<\/p>\n

Watch out for the other\u00a0highlights of MIBF including seminars, workshops, book signings, and special events like the Fandom Fest<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
