This May 19, 2019<\/strong>, celebrate International Museum Day (IMD) at the Ayala Museum, Makati City<\/strong> for free! IMD is a very special day in the year that brings focus on museums. It’s also a day where museums open their doors for free to the public.<\/p>\n

The theme of this year’s IMD is “Museums as Cultural Hubs: The Future of Tradition”<\/strong> – the theme highlights the essential role of museums in their respective communities.<\/p>\n

Gold In our Veins: Mark Lewis Lim Higgins and Images of Nation: National Artists in the BPI Collection – two current changing exhibits of the Ayala Museum showcase traditional and modern approaches to art that guests will surely love to admire. Guests can also visit the museum’s permanent collections such as Gold of Ancestors, the Dioramas of Philippine History, A Millennium of Contact, Art and the Order of Nature, and Fernando Zobel.<\/p>\n
